Description

The YQL380GC is a 150N gas spring (gas strut) used to lift and hold open the hopper door of a garbage chute, the refuse chute found on each floor of residential and commercial towers. It has threaded stud ends and a black finish, and is in stock at our Mussafah office.

How to check it matches your chute door

1. Read the force (in N) and any model number printed on the old gas spring.
2. Measure the old spring from end to end when fully extended, and the stroke if you can.
3. Check the end fittings: threaded studs, eyelets or ball sockets.
4. Send us a photo of the old spring and its markings on WhatsApp and we will confirm the match before you buy.

Signs a hopper door gas spring needs replacing

The door drops or slams shut instead of staying open, it feels much heavier to lift than before, or there is oil on the strut body. Replacing worn springs on every floor at the same time keeps all doors working the same way.
